Title: I'll Be There For You |
Jeri Winston can’t remember a time when her best friend, Alexander Cross wasn’t by her side. For the past decade, he has always been there to pick her up when she fell and offer encouragement when she needed it most.
Alex can’t remember a time when he wasn’t in love with Jeri Winston. She’s sweet, beautiful, and everything he’s ever wanted in a woman. If only she’d see him as a man and not just her best friend. When Connor Addison comes back to town, Alex knows that if he’s ever going to do something about his feelings for Jeri, this might be his last chance. Jeri had a crush on Connor in high school and now that Connor’s showing interest in Jeri, Alex knows that it’s most likely now or never…
I’ll Be There For You is a very sweet story – you can’t help but love Alex and hope for someone to love you the way that he loves Jeri. It’s easy to understand Jeri’s feelings and actions since she wasn’t popular in high school and has only recently become self-confident. Ellen Fisher has penned a wonderful story about two best friends that discover themselves and each other – I highly recommend reading this charming story!
