Title: Unscrambled Eggs |
Unscrambled Eggs is a romantic quick read; a poem on each page. The author, Nadia Brown, gives us a peek into her past life, and she shows us her determination to get over the struggles that life can bring to all of us.
She writes about love, life and nature. You’d think that these are all themes that every poet writes about in his or her life, but Nadia Brown knows how to bring it to us in her own special way. You can read how she choses the words very carefully as they express her most inner feelings. She takes you on a journey that we humans all encounter for one day; when we ask ourselves our own questions about life.
My absolute favorite poem is the one called “Autumn Falls Softly” (p.33); where she describes in colourful words how the autumn comes into our lives and how you can enjoy this, if you want to…
There is also a short chapter, called “Before I knew better” (p.36) where Ms. Brown tells us how surprised she was after her graduation; when she realized that life didn’t went as she had planned or hoped. This chapter couldn’t be more true; I think we all have dreams and hopes when we are young, and to find out that life doesn’t work this way… For most people that's a hard pill to swallow.
I can only conclude that Unscrambled Eggs is a wonderful book, filled with emotions and that Nadia Brown is a talented author. If you are up for something romantic to read, you must just try this one. And not only the romantic souls amongst us will find their satisfaction, but also those that like to read about more seriously subjects will surely know how to appreciate Unscrambled Eggs!
