In my free time I spend most of my time updating the site, uploading new requests or replying to emails.

When I’m not doing that I’m either chatting, shopping or watching movies or series on my computer. My favorite movies are the ones based on Nicholas Sparks’ novels (The Notebook, A Walk to Remember) and my favorite movie ever is Love & Basketball because it has a great plot, lots of romantic vibes between the main characters and great songs! Also about two years ago I started watching Bollywood movies and I really love the costumes and the music! My favorite series are romantic or comedy ones like One Tree Hill, Kyle XY and The Office (US).

As soon as my computer is off I start reading. My favorite genres are chicklit, romantic drama, dogs and crafts. My favorite authors are Jill Mansell, Meg Cabot, Jennifer Crusie, Nicholas Sparks, Candice Dow, Riley Weston and Virginia Andrews. I try to collect all the books from my favorite authors and Virginia Andrews has a bunch of books so my library is getting very crowded!

I like reading romantic books, but also a good thriller now and then. Actually, I read everything except fantasy and science-fiction. That's not my kind of thing... I'm also really into books that talk about Native America, as this is one of my passions in life.

"When you arise in the morning
give thanks for the morninglight,
for your life and strength.
Give thanks
for you food and the joy of living.
If you see no reason
for giving thanks,
the fault lies
with yourself."

Book with a special meaning:

Vampire Huntress Series. The series by LA Banks is very important to me. The books feature a young African American female as a vampire huntress. And it also shows American minorities (Asian, Mexican American, Jewish American, African American, etc.) in leading roles (positive ness). The series also delves into issues with the modern world (society, religion, etc.) It makes for some good reading. I also happen to have a lot of respect for the author. I aspire to write as good, if not equally with the ever-talented and intelligent author the famed Leslie Banks. I enjoy her writing style and I love how she tends to incorporate southern culture within her stories. I’m a southern and I love my southern roots! Her stories also make you think all her stories no matter what genre she writes in fiction and nonfiction. She’s one of those must check out authors of the millennium. What are you wanting for check her out…NOW!

Mookie

(my Jack Russell Terrier)

Hello. I live in the Midwest U.S.A. with my husband. We are retired and our kids are grown. I have a lot of time to read. I like to make scrap quilts and love the character Tony Soprano in the Soprano's. I'm so sorry the show has come to an end. I do look forward to watching American Idol.  I like...no wait, make that love to read erotic romance. Above is a picture of my dog.

I'm a technical writer and freelance writer currently living in California. I'm best known on the Internet for my videoblog and blog. In Summer of 2007, I am going on the road full time in an RV, traveling around the country and working from the road. I have one cat and no kids.

I enjoy books with strong female characters, but "strong" doesn't need to mean "combative." I hold a graduate degree in English, so I can be a very critical reader, but I try to temper that when reading for enjoyment. Because I read so much for my degree, I don't really have a favorite book anymore, but Sir Gawain and the Green Knight is and always will be one of the top five. I mainly read in English, but I am also competent in French, Middle English, and Old English, and am currently learning Spanish.

I love to read and my favorite place to go as a young girl was the library.  I read a wide range of genres.  Recently, I finished The Rebels of Ireland by Edward Rutherfurd and it was brilliant.  I am a fan of Sidney Sheldon's work and feel that his death was a great loss to the reading community. Thanks for listening and read on!

I love to read and it doesn't matter if it's an eBook or paperback. Some of my favorites are Angela Knight, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Madison Hayes, M.A. Ellis, Mandy M Roth, and Michelle Pillow  just to name a few.

I'm taller than the average woman- 6'4, and when I find an author that understands that not all women are 5'5 and a size 6, that lady becomes my new best friend. :)

I live in LA- Lower Alabama and I'm a country girl. Town is five miles away and that's plenty close enough for me.

My hubby of 15 years and I still have at least one date a week...usually lunch on payday but hey, a girl takes what she can get.
